REKO
REKO is an investigation into the working conditions for artists when they exhibit at major public art institutions in Sweden. In the project we are creating a database with facts, and in the autumn Sweden's most decent (translated "reko" in Swedish) art institutions will be crowned. REKO will take place online and in the media, but also at seminars and exhibitions. The project is done in collaboration with the artist Jan Rydén and the art historian Tanja von Dahlern.REKO was launched at Kulturhuset on 3 February 2009 with a following debate about issues raised in the project.
